People In Need is looking for an executive manager of recently established social enterprise in packaging industry. The company produces mainly pasteboard boxes, paper bags and other packaging products made from paper or cardboard. The social objective of company is to employ individuals with visual impairment and people with other disabilities as well as other disadvantaged individuals.

People in Need – a Czech Republic based non-governmental organization dedicated to development cooperation, delivery of humanitarian aid in areas of need, and human rights support – has long tradition of working in Kosovo and the wider region of the Western Balkans. People In Need assisted the countries of the region with humanitarian aid for the refugees and those affected by the armed conflicts for number of years in the nineties. The current activities in Kosovo include assistance to people with disabilities in different forms as well as support to the inclusive education for children from the most vulnerable communities. Social Enterprise Executive Manager

Type of Contract:       Full-time

Place of Work:                       Prishtina

Starting date:              May/June 2018

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overall management of the enterprise
  • Marketing and sales
  • Acquiring new customers
  • Quality and well-timed production
  • Maintain close relationship with local authorities and other relevant institutions within the subject area
  • Manage the enterprise and provide guidance to employees when/where needed related to production process or usage of equipment
  • Closely monitor the production and assure quality of products, timeliness, efficiency, and contracting and financial compliance
  • Cooperate and report to Board of Directors


  • Min 3-5 years of high level managerial experience including managing people in the private sector
  • Min 3 years of experience in packing, printing or paperwork industry
  • Experience in sales and contracting
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills
  • Working experience with people with disabilities will be considered an advantage
  • Knowledge of English language will also be considered an advantage
