Job description:
Network Analyst I and II for VNOC “Voice Network Operation Center”

Duties and Responsibilities:
•The primary responsibility for the VNOC Network Analyst I & II (NA I & II) is to use the IBM Tivoli Netcool application to monitor, acknowledge, and correctly respond to alarms in switches, voicemail platforms, GR303 remotes, and billing devices according to the criteria defined in VNOC’s process documentation.  
•Correctly responds to all alarms in central office TDM switches, various SS7 network elements, billing systems and billing system interfaces, voicemail systems.
•Recognize and correctly responds to all failures in VNOC’s alarm within switching infrastructure.
•Correctly receives and manages calls regarding Method of Procedures commencement and completion
•Troubleshoot network signaling issues and assist /support field engineers in case of any issues.
•“Owns” tickets until ticket is resolved or handed off to the next shift, drives resolution of the ticket, and documents steps taken to resolve the troubles the tickets describe. Provide quality updates to tickets with information required for escalation to other groups as outlined in VNOC ticket processes
•Escalation of Tickets with pre-analysis and investigation results.

Minimum requirements:
•University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
•Strong knowledge of TDM Technologies
•Good knowledge on Internet Protocol and Routing Protocols
•Good knowledge with Linux systems
•Good knowledge of SQL
•Highly proficient in spoken and written English
•Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
•Strong analytical skills to understand quickly the nature of the problem and find a solution
•High customer orientation and good communication skills

•Experience in Voice TDM and telecommunication industry
•Experience in Customer Support
•CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP or CCIP Certified
