JOB TITLE: Data Collection Clerk
DUTY STATION: Prishtinë/Priština
REPORTS TO: Program Manager
ASSIGMENT: Seven months
STARTING DATE: 1 June 2017
Advancing Together is providing support to the local and central level authorities in addressing the basic needs of Kosovo returnees in the areas of physical, legal and material safety, as well as, strengthening authorities’ capacities for the protection of returnee and displaced populations. In order to extend support to the process we have decided to gather data and complete the application forms collected from Municipal Offices for Communities and Return.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Assist in planning and conducting field-level data collection through household interview Kosovo wide.
-Ensure information regarding households is consolidated into one database and is up-to-date.
-Ensure data collected is based on the Age, Gender and Diversity Mainstreaming.
-Support in providing data for protection monitoring activities with line manager.
-Ensure that good relations are maintained with field staff, so that beneficiary data accurately reflects activities on the ground.
-Work closely and coordinate with the community volunteers.
-Develop weekly, monthly and as per need reports and data from the database.
-University Degree in relevant fields of human rights will be considered as an advantage;
-Minimum three years of professional experience in the field of human rights monitoring;
-High level of interpersonal and communication skills and experience with various stakeholders and actors at various levels;
-Sound computer and literate skills are a requirement;
-Excellent written and oral knowledge of English, Albanian and Serbian languages; knowledge of any additional local language will be considered as an advantage;
-Experience and proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team with people of different ethnicities, religions and cultural backgrounds.
-Possession of a valid driving license.
Data Collection Clerk will sign an employment contract with AT on 1st of June 2017 subject to three-month probation period with the possibility of extension.
Successful candidate will be subject to background and security checks.
