Position 1.

Test Engineer

A test engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. As a test engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans, as well as identifying and reporting any defects or issues. Your work will directly contribute to the overall success of our software development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures
• Identify, analyze, and document software defects and issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools
• Perform regression testing to ensure software functionality remains intact
• Conduct performance and load testing to assess system stability and scalability

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a test engineer or in a similar role

Job Description for Test Engineer position:

This is the Flex-LEU (WEB Gui in JAVA - is well covered)

• single components should be tested cleanly
• I/O cards have to be tested
• Volt & Current Sensing cards + Loop card
• big setup with 8 cards connected via bus
• everything is simulated
• HW in the Loop Testing
• CPU is tested with test framework (programmed in JAVA - Gherkins scripting language) (understanding HW is important / thinking electronics control technology into it should go well)
• HW/Embedded tester
• basic JAVA understanding necessary
• Outcome is the test documentation

Ideal candidate for Test Engineer position:

• Min 3 years JAVA Experience
• Experience in Embedded Hardware Trackside Controllers/Elements
• GIT Hub

• Test Automation Knowledge
• Willing to travel to Vienna for several weeks

Position 2.

Test Lead

Job Description for Test Lead position:

• In a professional environment with standardized software development and test process (classic and agile), you will take over the independent test management in a
• development project with these main tasks after appropriate training and supported by an experienced team of test specialists:
• Coordination of the test team and representation of the test interests in the project
• Selection of the appropriate test strategy and test tools
• Responsibility for the entire test process in the project (effort estimation, planning, conception, organization, design and execution)
• Responsibility for operational test execution (integration test, user acceptance test, functional test, system test, load and performance test, security test, migration test)
• Ensuring the required test data and test environments
• Definition and implementation tracking of a project-specific test automation strategy
• Tracking of test plans, ensuring test progress, evaluation and reporting of test results

Ideal candidate for Test Lead position:

Extensive knowledge and several years of practical experience in the testing field.

• Practical experience as a test manager in both classic and agile software development
• Practical experience in testing standard software (e.g. Acta Nova, Sugar CRM, etc.)
• Very good IT knowledge (procedure models, processes, technical architectures)
• Good knowledge of software development in the JEE environment
• Basic knowledge of requirements engineering
• Independent and self-reliant way of working
• High quality awareness and work accuracy
• Ability to work in a team, leadership qualities, conflict/discussion skills
• Organizational, moderation and presentation skills
• Very good written and spoken German and English (level C1)

Additionally advantageous:

• HTL with computer science focus or (UAS) degree in (business) computer science.
