Project “Legal and Administrative Reform” offers the vacancy for:

Overall purpose of the assignment

The intern will support the GIZ team of the “Legal and Administrative Reform Project” in implementation of the project, in everyday activities and will fulfil tasks that will be delegated by the team manager and the core project team in the office. One main task of the intern will be in supporting the team in organizing and implementing ongoing events like workshops or study trips.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

The following tasks/ responsibilities are indicative and may be modified according to the needs of the project:

  • Assisting the Legal and Administrative Reform Project in various processes and other administrative support based on the current needs
  • Research on specific points of law and regulatory matters
  • Assisting with document review and assessment
  • Collecting and summarizing/updating law compilation, in particular compiling and analyzing laws in force from official gazette
  • Undertake activities in the area of project communication and PR (intranet, website, social media, and internal communication) and contributions to the projects knowledge management
  • Support in the preparation and implementation of the project facebook page
  • Write short reports after each workshop, conference or training and update the website with all project activities
  • Support the preparation, implementation and post-processing of workshops, conferences and trainings
  • Provide administrative and organizational support, such as translation and preparation/ documentation of meetings
  • Support the team leader and the project team in everyday project related duties

Qualifications and experience sought

  • University student (academic degree will be considered an asset), preferably in the field of law with focus on administrative law
  • Excellent team-working and communication skills
  • Proficient English and Albanian language skills
  • Good German, Serbian and Turkish language skills are an asset
  • Experience in working with or in the field of legal and administrative reform
  • Experience in organization of events
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are imperative whilst multitasking to support various colleagues and meeting tight deadlines
  • Service-oriented attitude and interpersonal skills, including adapting communication to different Recipients and networking in Kosovo and with the international community
  • Able to establish good and considerate working relationship with all staff in the organisation demonstrating respect for their own roles and responsibilities
  • Good IT skills
  • Fast-learner and willingness to be flexible and prepared to contribute to the company in other duties as required

Location

  • The office is based in Pristina
  • Participation in field visits throughoutKosovo isexpected

Duration

  • The intern should start as soon as possible. The internship is offered with a negotiable duration of 2-6 months
